YEAR OF LIFE OPPORTUNITY: Beginning of every year SALT takes on two year of life positions within our organization. This is a full time volunteer position for people considering a career in Social work, Community Development, Full time ministry or wanting to take a gap year and be pro active. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES WITHIN OUR PROJECTS
We encourage volunteers to volunteer their time and talent within our projects. We do have several opportunities available on a regular basis:

ENOZIPHO EDUCARE: crèche/pre school in Joe Slovo Milnerton

Monday and Friday mornings 9.30 to 11.30 with our Toddlers workshop outreach. Assisting our Toddlers workshop coach with music and movement. -Age group of children between 1 years and 6 years old. - No experience necessary. Just a love for children Thursday mornings 9.30 to 11.30: Ministry teaching and interaction with pre school classes. Simple Bible stories are told, songs sung, and games played. - Age group of children between 3years and 6 years old. - No experience necessary. Just a love to work with children. Maintenance team: General maintenance such as fixing of windows, mowing lawn, assisting in the vegetable garden. Handy man experience would be beneficial. - Weekdays or Weekends (once or twice a month).

ISIDIMA: Outreach to unemployed women from the community

• Thursday mornings from 8.45am to 11.30am (At View church).
• Assisting from making sandwiches, administration and counselling.
• No experience necessary (all training is done on site).
• Packing of clothing parcels for ISIDIMA women:
  - Tuesday mornings 9am to 11am (at View Church).
  - No experience necessary.

MEDIA/VIDEO FILMING AND EDITING:
SALT regularly requires video footage to advertise our projects for funding and awareness.

• Experience in filming and editing would be beneficial.
• Camera equipment can be supplied by SALT for filming.

FIELD WORKER ASSISTANT:
Be trained as a Field worker, working in the community with our various projects at ground level. Position is a volunteer position. Work with our current Field worker.

• No experience necessary, but a heart for the community and mission work essential

COMMUNITY HOURS FOR SCHOLARS:
Several workdays and community projects are available for students requiring community hours for school. No experience is necessary.
